More pensions jobs are becoming available due to the simplification of the rules and the resulting change to pensions products, which is leading to an increased activity in pensions recruitment.  Major clients, previously specialising in the unit trust and ISA market, are now branching into pensions administration.  As they diversify and expand their administration operations, our clients require candidates with pensions administration experience and in particular their recruitment is focused on the following pensions jobs:

Senior Pensions Jobs:

For more senior pensions jobs such as Senior Pensions Administrator and Team Leader you are likely to have around 3 years pensions experience and will have held responsibility either leading a team of staff or as a senior team member. 
 
Senior management pensions jobs up to Head of Pensions Administration are supported.  Such pensions jobs are personally handled by Steve Johnson, Managing Director.
 
Pensions Team Leaders & Supervisors


Candidates for Team Leader and Supervisor jobs in pensions administration will tend to have 3-5 years pensions administration experience and be able to demonstrate technical competency in this field.  Proven people management skills are required; in particular managing a SIPP or SSAS administration team would be preferred.

Senior Roles – Pensions Administration Managers

Pensions Manager jobs are available for candidates with over 5 years pensions administration experience, managing a medium to large department or a number of teams.  Clients are keen to recruit senior candidates with a background in SIPPs, SSASs or the investment wrap industry.

Project Managers – Pensions Specialists

Pensions specialists with project management experience are now required for contract and permanent pensions jobs.  Specialist knowledge of the pensions market is particularly helpful to clients establishing new operations; also candidates with experience in implementing pensions systems are required.  Candidates may have managed single projects or, as Programme Manager, simultaneously managed a number of large projects.
